Lazy Bones

Today I was too tired to get up to workout. Now it’s raining and I’ve got all the kids home for Spring Break. What a loser. First official day of my “diet” and I don’t even workout. And I’m hungry, but that is for a different post. grrr. Workout #1 = fail. Maybe tonight I’ll try a workout video. Who am I kidding? I’ll be folding laundry watching Housewives of Orange County.

  1. Maria, I used to be the same way. If I wasn’t able to get to the gym it was a fail in my mind. But now I just try to do something. If I can’t get to the gym, I try to do ten sets of ten kettlebell swings, or ten minutes of stair sprints (running up the stairs, lol), or something. It makes me feel less like a fail. Besides, something is better than nothing. 🙂

  2. Sounds like it’s a good night for an after dinner Strate Dance party. I *know* you have a disco ball somewhere. Blare the the Irene Cara, Olivia Newton John, Katy Perry, Gaga and get your groove on.

  3. It is so hard, especially at the beginning. You’ve got find a routine that you can be consistent with, because consistency is the key. It may take a few go’s, but you’ll find it. We’re with ya!
